Grandma's 90th birthday
And Christmas with M&D, Liz & John and Stephanie

Turkey dinner with plenty of leftovers. One full turkey came from Bexley and an additional turkey breast was done here. Ice cream dessert followed the opening of presents (and Christmas stockings).

Only Cand K remain

C is not that difficult, but K is

As a signpainter, R was Mr Biswas favorite letter render. I find it more difficult than rewarding and rarely draw it. I have trouble with its leg, just as I struggle with the leg of the K.

Back to work
Quite a struggle after a week, which wasn't nearly long enough away.

Thurman Café
For supper

With Brad, Erica, Kevin and Christy

Kevin and Christy are moving into a condo in northerst Columbus; Brad and Erica are living in the apartment that Kevin and Brad had shared in Madison.

Question of the evening (from Erica): is the plural (in English) of nexus "nexuses" or "nexi"? Kevin and I both initially pictured Lexis-Nexis (which is only singular and how could it have a plural?) before grasping the actual question.

Microsoft Word had not flagged "nexuses" as mispelled, though no one felt Microsoft a good enough authority on which to rely.
