NEW YEAR'S 2005

Sandcastles are difficult with rampaging puppies
Sand-tunnels? They seemed less vulnerable.

Marty and Allan arrived
We all managed the annual New Year's trek down the boardwalk to the beach, and toasted midnight with the champagne Marty brought.

The football faction nearly went to war with the anti-football faction, but peace prevailed due to an upstairs TV and sufficient space between the computing table and the football TV.

The swimming deer
No, it's not a good picture, but even a poor picture is helpful when attempting to describe the three deer who dashed madly across the sand beach, jumped into the ocean, and started swimming. Deer?

Kacy and Andrew arrived
Still a beautiful blue with sun, and warmer, too.

Walking (running?) on the beach
Chill, but beautiful sun and blue sky.

Driving day.
The roads were quite clear after leaving Columbus. Snow vanished south of I-70, though it reappeared on the side of the interstate in North Carolina.

Arrived 12.45a.

Charlie and Chloe struggled to understand each other.
