Stephanie
and Chris in town
Went
to dinner with them and Rob and Elizabeth at Cap City Diner.
Formal waiters, excellent dinners, and banana bread pudding
for dessert. Not bad at all.
Afterwards
Amy and I went to Bexley with Stephanie and Chris and looked
at pictures of Nevada (and some old ones from our family that
M had out and was organizing).

Still hanging in there. I timed them poorly
this year, and they were just ready to bloom when we left for
Florida.
Choir
rehearsal
An
extensive workout -- remedial work on the Hallelujah Chorus
(to counteract bad habits that everyone has fallen into due
to supposed familiarity) had everyone worn out -- then we started
in on the Mozart Requiem
Bexley
afterwards.
Amy
went shopping with Stephanie during the day. Book Loft, wine
shop, thrift store.

Oops.
Woke
up at 2 a.m. and realized one of the stories that I had started
on page 3 of the paper never ended anywhere.
Made
for a long Thursday morning, as I had to fit a 1/2 page of text
into no available space.

AND BELOW A stop-off on the way home. Center-city
Charlotte, NC has flowers blooming, sun shining, public art,
and a little bit of interesting architecture.
Return
to Columbus, Part II.

Winsboro, NC. Trying to find our way back to
the interestate.
