Dinner at Mike & Jen's
As they prepare to move to their new house

Sugar cookies
And icing

Gardenwork
Bagging and clearing leaves from the back garden. Crocus have been in bloom over a week, but nothing else.

Maundy Thursday services
Jesus Paid it All
Sang the choir

Amy attended services at St. Mary's in German Village. With so much incense, they actually opened a window for air.

Deadline day at the paper
So I made it over in time to put together the front page.

Jury duty
No juries. One of the magistrates spoke briefly in the afternoon.

Went to lunch with Rick.

ABOVE Mantel embellishments. Easter edition.

Jury duty
No juries. County Treasurer Rich Cordray spoke briefly in the afternoon.

ABOVE The Joseph P. Kinneary United States Courthouse. Long Street and Civic Center Boulevard downtown. Not the courthouse where I was serving jury duty this week -- that would be the Franklin County Municipal Courts Building, which sits next to the Franklin County Courthouse and that next to the Franklin County Hall of Justice.

The Verdict
Back to the office after we were allowed to leave the courthouse, where we had to finish publishing the Verdict. Columbus top lawyers as voted by their peers. I had to come up with a cover from the jury room -- thus I managed to get Janet out to the Federal Courthouse above to shoot the frieze on the south facade.

Back to jury duty
And more waiting. But we got to hear County Auditor Joe Testa speak.

Dentist
Disagreements kept us up late.

First day of spring
The temperature is dropping and there is a threat of snow.

Rumors
A play by Neil Simon

Acted by the Watterson High School Drama II independent study

Spring cleaning
Outside -- much to pick up -- trash and leaves all over the front. Left the side for later -- that's a much more involved project.

You did not miss Jerusalem
Sang the choir.

An hour and a half service -- a baptism, communion, and the full passion Gospel -- read dramatically.
