They were scheduled to light it at 8:45; at 8:44 it started
raining. We rushed back to the car, quite wet, and gave up.

Over and over again -- he found the dish where many old wine
corks have been piled up. He climbs up on the table, knocks
one off, and chases it all around until he loses it.

then it's on to the next cork. There could be hundreds all over
the house soon.
